Blood Bikes Manchester would like to thank once again Hyde Town Team for the invite to their Emergency Services Day. Hundreds of people flocked onto Hyde market place to not only view the emergency vehicles, but having the chance to speak to members of our local Police, Fire, Ambulance, Medical trainers and of course, our very own blood bike team. The well organised event has been covered by the local press and also live broadcasts via Tameside Radio all day and we are sure there will be hundreds of photos popping up on facebook, so dont forget to tag us @bloodbikesmanchester
Blood Bikes Manchester proudly present our ice bucket team challenge with our friends from the Malmaison hotel in Manchester.
We nominate some of Greater Manchester's favourites including; Greater Manchester Police Motorcycle Division, Mummy's Star, The Manchester Evening News, The Neonatal Unit at the Royal Oldham Hospital and of course our favourite soap, the cast and crew of Coronation Street.
The Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes (NABB) are an umbrella organisation who assist member groups with representation, financial subsidies, guidance and support. With the one aim to provide a free of charge medical transport service to the NHS.
The serious side to blood bikes
Whilst we encourage our volunteers to have fun when out and about, we still have to maintain the professional image mirrored throughout the Uk by other groups. Our life saving work, run completely by unpaid volunteers can be seen in the next few promotional videos. Please take time to watch them.
